Our Story
Filacycle started with a simple idea: What if 3D printer waste could be recycled back into filament? Frustrated by the lack of cost-effective recycling options, we set out to create a solution.
Our journey began in a school basement with a Filastruder and a few blenders from Goodwill—a setup that quickly proved too slow. Determined to improve, we built our own system, refining it until we could produce a high-quality filament that meets the standards of serious makers.
Today, Filacycle transforms discarded PLA and PETG into fresh, 100% recycled filament—and we reward you for participating! With our unique point system, sending in scrap plastic isn’t just good for the environment, it helps keep your prints sustainable and affordable.
